1. Who we are
WhaChaNeed Group LLC operates a referral and booking platform. We connect customers with independent contractors and independent partner businesses, and we coordinate scheduling and communication around that work.
WhaChaNeed Group LLC is not the general contractor on your project unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
2. Contractor responsibility
Work is performed by independent contractors. Each contractor is responsible for holding the licenses required for their trade and jurisdiction, carrying their own general liability and workers' compensation insurance as applicable, and pulling permits in their own name as general contractor of record.
The contractor performing the work is responsible for the quality, safety, and code compliance of that work.
3. Scope, estimates and change orders
Estimates are based on the information provided and on conditions visible at the time of the walkthrough. Hidden conditions — rot, water damage, failed structure, code issues discovered during demo — can change the price and the schedule.
Any work outside the written scope is handled as a change order. Change orders are documented and approved by the customer in writing before that work proceeds.
4. Affiliated companies
WhaChaNeed Group LLC operates alongside affiliated companies under common ownership, including contracting, liquidation, and referral entities. When a job is referred to an affiliated company, that relationship exists and is disclosed here.
Being referred to an affiliated company or a network partner is never a requirement of working with us, and you always contract with the performing business directly.
5. Network partners
Network partners listed in our directory are independent businesses. They set their own pricing, carry their own insurance, and are solely responsible for the services they provide.
A referral is not a warranty. We remove partners from the directory when they stop meeting our standard.
6. Payment
Payment terms, deposits, and progress payment milestones are set in the written agreement for each job before work begins. Final payment is due after the walkthrough and customer sign-off, on the terms stated in that agreement.
Funds are kept separate by entity. Deposits collected for a job are applied to that job.
7. Contractor agreements and non-circumvention
Contractors approved into the network sign an agreement covering scope, payment terms, insurance and certificate of insurance requirements, and conduct standards.
That agreement includes a non-circumvention clause running twenty-four (24) months from introduction, covering customers and partners introduced through the platform.
8. Privacy
Information you submit through this site is used to route your request, quote the work, and follow up with you. We do not sell your personal information.
Job details are shared with the contractors and partners who need them to bid or perform the work.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WhaChaNeed Group LLC's liability arising out of a referral is limited to the platform fees it received in connection with that referral. Claims relating to the performance of the work belong against the performing contractor or partner.
